This Privacy Policy explains how TransWave Photonics, LLC handles personal information in connection with this website, technical inquiries, recruitment communications, and authorized website administration.
In this policy, “TWP,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean TransWave Photonics, LLC, located at 8711 Burnet Rd. Ste. F67, Austin, TX 78757, United States. “Website” means the TWP company website and its hosted review version. “Personal information” means information relating to an identified or identifiable individual. “Service providers” means organizations that support website hosting, content delivery, communications, or administration.
The technical inquiry form collects your first name, last name, email address, optional company name, area of interest, and question. We use these details to respond to and manage your inquiry. Submitted details are recorded in a Firebase/Firestore email queue addressed to info@transwavephotonics.com for processing by the company’s email service. A website submission confirmation indicates that the inquiry was recorded; it does not confirm delivery to an inbox or that a person has read it.
If you email us about a technical project, we receive your email address and any name, professional contact details, project information, or attachments you choose to provide. We use that information to respond to and manage the inquiry.
If you apply for a position using the email address or application link shown in a job posting, we receive the information you submit through that channel, which may include your contact details, résumé, qualifications, and employment history. We use application information to handle recruitment communications and evaluate applications. The website itself does not provide a résumé upload form. External application services have their own privacy notices.
The Submit inquiry button sends the completed technical inquiry form. Email inquiry and email application links instead open your email application; selecting an email link alone does not send a message. Include only information relevant to your inquiry or application.
Website administration is restricted to authorized staff accounts using Google sign-in through Firebase Authentication. Google and Firebase process account identifiers, email addresses, authentication information, and basic profile information supplied through the sign-in service. We use that information to authenticate administrators and check management access. Content management records include the editor’s email address and creation and update timestamps.
Public visitors do not need an account to read company information, news, or job postings. The website does not offer public account registration.
When your browser requests pages, fonts, scripts, or published content, the hosting and delivery services involved may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser details, request time, and requested resource. This information may be processed to deliver the website, maintain availability, and protect the service.
Embedded Google Maps displays the office location; Google may process technical information when the map loads or is used. The hosted review website uses Sites hosting. Firebase provides published news and job data and administrator authentication. Some pages request fonts or scripts from Google services. These providers process information in connection with delivering their services. See Firebase privacy information and Google’s Privacy Policy for further information.
Administrator sign-in uses Firebase browser session storage so that access continues when an administrator moves between management screens or reloads a page in the same tab. Signing out clears that application sign-in session. Closing the tab or window ends session persistence; Google’s own account session is separate. Restricting browser storage may prevent management sign-in from working.
The redesigned website pages do not embed a Google Analytics tag. Some retained legacy pages use Google Analytics to measure website use. Where loaded, Analytics may use cookies and process device, browser, and interaction information. See Google Analytics data information and your browser’s privacy controls. Hosting and delivery services may still process technical request information on pages without an Analytics tag.
We use information to respond to inquiries, manage applications, administer and secure the website, and comply with applicable legal obligations. Information may be processed by service providers supporting those activities, disclosed when required by law, used to protect legal rights or safety, or disclosed with your consent. If a business transfer affects personal information, the applicable notice requirements will be followed.
We retain personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including applicable legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements. Retention depends on the type of information and its purpose. Ending an administrator’s browser session does not by itself delete Firebase account records, content history, or related service records.
TWP is based in Texas, United States. Email, hosting, authentication, and delivery providers may process information in other locations, including outside your country or region. Processing is subject to applicable data protection requirements. This policy does not represent that all website data is hosted only in the United States.
Contact info@transwavephotonics.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information you have provided, or to ask about applicable privacy rights. We may need information to verify the request. Applicable law, legal retention duties, and the rights of others may affect how a request is handled. The website does not provide a public account settings or self-service deletion page.
We use measures intended to protect personal information, but no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure.
The website is intended for professional and business use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so that we can address the matter.
The website may link to external research documents, application services, or other websites. Their operators are responsible for their own information practices. Review their privacy notices before submitting information.
We may update this policy by posting a revised version and updating the date above. Where applicable law requires additional notice, we will provide it.
