Seungyong (Sean) Jung

Seungyong (Sean) Jung, Ph.D., Co-Founder and President/CEO
Dr. Jung brings a wealth of expertise in III-V optoelectronic devices and photonic integration. He spearheads innovation in photonic integration technology, guiding our talented R&D team toward groundbreaking advancements. He has published more than 50 journal/conference papers and holds three U.S. patents.

Nishant Nookala

Nishant Nookala, Ph.D., Director of Photonics
Dr. Nookala is the lead engineer for TWP’s photonic integration, metasurface, and large-format mid-infrared LED array efforts. He has led numerous challenging projects for both government and commercial customers, with extensive hands-on experience in device design, fabrication, and characterization. To date, he has published >20 refereed journal/conference articles, contributing significantly to the fields of nonlinear metasurfaces, high-speed modulation, and monolithic photonic integration.

Mikhail Belkin

Mikhail Belkin, Ph.D., Co-Founder
Dr. Belkin is currently a chair professor and co-director of the Walter Schottky Institute at the Technical University of Munich. He has co-authored more than 200 journal and conference papers in the area of mid-infrared and terahertz optoelectronics, integrated photonics, and metamaterials. He is a Fellow of the OSA and SPIE.
